I am a teacher first and a computer geek second.

Lessons with me are always personalized to your current skills and technology goals. There is no task too small and no question too basic. My teaching methods are simple and customizable; my patience and empathy are limitless.

Yes I know a lot about computers and technology, but I am not a programmer. I do not work for the booming tech industry. Instead, I know how to make technology familiar and take away the fear of the unknown. The message that I receive over and over from listening to my students is that they feel left behind by this technology-dependent world. New technologies are, by and large, not created with older adults in mind, and I have made it my mission to help my students close that gap. I also always include information about safety and privacy in every single lesson, because everyone has a right to know how to protect their identity.

I have been an educator for more than ten years and I have worked with students from age four through age 94! Central to my teaching philosophy is the idea that everyone can learn, and everyone can be taught. So don’t wait to begin our time learning together. I can’t wait to meet you.
